It is a natural source of vitamins of the B-group, vitamins E and K1, calcium, phosphorus and omega 3. With regular use, the condition of the skin and feathers will improve and during the seasonal moulting the regeneration process goes easier and faster.
Niger seeds are also known to help prevent eggs from retaining in the oviduct, so it is especially beneficial to feed these seeds before the breeding season.
