BLAU terra activa soil brown is a brown PH-lowering soil that actively lowers the kH and PH. This soil ensures that the kH from the water is bound, so that it can drop below 2 . This reduces the acid buffering capacity, allowing the PH to drop to 5.5-6.5 (depending on the water used). The terra activa soil then keeps the PH stable, creating the ideal water values for shrimp and fish that like softer and more acidic water.
The lower pH also ensures that aquarium plants can absorb CO2 and nutrients more easily. As a result, aquarium plants will grow better and algae formation in the aquarium is prevented. In addition, the bottom contains a wide range of plant food, so that your aquarium plants can be fed from the bottom for the first 6 months. For example, the plant roots will develop well from the start, which ensures long-lasting strong and healthy aquarium plants. Does not contain ammonia so that waste during the turning-in period is minimized!
This bottom is made of a grain that retains its shape for a long time. This prevents crumbling and prevents dust formation in the aquarium. In addition, the bottom ensures an active binding of floating parts and substances, so that the aquarium water is always crystal clear.
Instructions
• Do not wash the soil before use.
• Slowly add the water to the aquarium.
Tip: To avoid swirling ground, it is recommended to break the water on a saucer or the like, for example.
Extra information
• The BLAU terra activa soil is also suitable in combination with a soil filter.
• Not suitable for keeping fish that want to dig in the bottom (this can cause permanent turbidity of the water).
• Not for fish, shrimp and crayfish that require a high pH.
• May make water cloudy on first use. This should be removed within a few hours in combination with an aquarium filter.
• Keep bag closed to prevent dehydration.
It is recommended to take a bottom thickness of at least 4 centimeters. This ensures optimal operation.
